ABOUT SPENCER
Spencer McCarty is an accomplished American artist and art director, hailing from Denver, Colorado.
With a deep-rooted passion for animation and comics since an early age, Spencer's artistic journey has been characterized by his innate talent and love for drawing. While his initial art education was shaped by the public school curriculum, he further honed his skills by pursuing a degree in copywriting at the University of Missouri – Columbia, within the esteemed Journalism School. Following his graduation, Spencer relocated to Los Angeles, where he currently resides.
In 2013, upon settling in Los Angeles, Spencer experienced a rekindling of his artistic spirit, refocusing his energies on design. This pivotal moment marked the start of his dedicated pursuit of an artistic career, leading him to showcase his work in prestigious group art exhibitions, as well as securing international collectors and gaining recognition through features in short films and national magazines. Furthermore, in 2015, Spencer ventured into the vibrant street art scene of Los Angeles, leaving his mark through captivating murals both locally and abroad.
With an impressive artistic background and a steadfast commitment to his craft, Spencer McCarty continues to push the boundaries of his creativity and pursue his passion for art direction and design.
